Two days to go!

This year's Festival is almost upon us - woooo hooooo!

Here in the Folk Festival marketing office we're getting everything together ready to decamp to our little media caravan backstage tomorrow afternoon.

We've got laptops so we can update our blog, Facebook and Twitter while we're on site meaning you'll stay up-to-date with everything that happens - whether you're at Cambridge or not; a schedule of everything going on over each of the four days (it's about 100 pages long!); and our little black book of all the artists' phone numbers so we can set up interviews for them with press, radio and TV.

We've also got our trusty camera so we can take some photos of all the weird and wonderful goings on, plus some up-close-and-personal pics of the artists while they're on stage. Oh, and we'll try and get a few sneaky snaps of them backstage too - don't tell them!!

And finally, just to be on the safe side, our brollies, Pac-A-Macs and wellies are also in the suitcase, but we're (almost) positive we won't need to get them out...

The sun has got his hat on in Cambridge!

  1. It would be nice to join you this year but due to a cock up by SEE Tickets and DX, the delivery company. The tickets that I bought and paid for have been lost.... and what with your "we are totally not responsible for anything, ever" policy it looks as if I will have to sit out this year at home.

I hope that it rains on you all!

  3. Hi, hope you all have a great weekend!

Can you tell me whether the park is open as usual tomorrow wed 28th? Wanted to check whether weekly toddler outing to sandpit can go ahead!

    Thanks, Jules

  4. Is there any chance of having a list of timings for the artists beyond the rather cursory "Who's playing when" listing on the website? Surely by now the programmes have been printed, so a list of timings cannot now be regarded as provisional.

    Thanks

    Simon
